The design originates the red silk ribbon waving. The moving trend and the strips of the red silk ribbon waving are used as the outside outline of the whole building, which is made order by the organized design.
The design isn’t subject to the classical norms and the traditional composition,but to carry on a great deal of the experiments through the combination of a variety of forms , the unit of the size and the block based on space and rhythm. However,it is always combined with the modern life and satisfies the esthetic demands.
The whole building has clear logic form and the Appropriate tension of sense. The evelation mainly with the line of surface connects with the ground using the form of extension and transition of the top of the construction, which express a soft illusion of motion. 整个建筑具有清晰的逻辑形式和适度的视觉张力。立面以曲面线条为主,采用建筑顶面延伸过渡的形式与地面连接,表现出一种柔和的动感。滨海面结合亲水平台的伸缩,呈现出一种变化的秩序。在建筑中部的虚空间部分,把展厅的入口处理成一个通透的一线天式的灰空间。建筑室内通过顶面板材的变化取得了丰富的光与影。在人与建筑之间,形成一种基于时间因素的互动张力,形成联系过去、现在和未来的记忆线索。
建筑的表面处理直观地折射出建筑的文化品质。技术手段和艺术处理完美结合,注重建造方式自身的表现,材料的使用与建筑的功能和形式相对应。建筑表面用材以混凝土、金属、玻璃为主,以体现建筑的轻盈感和科技感。
